FLV Video Downloader is a small application that allows downloading FLV and AVI video format files.
The program gets inserted into the user's browser, running in the background, waiting in the system tray for the user to visit a video sharing web page, such as Youtube, Google Video, etc. As soon as a selected video starts playing, the application displays a prompt window where the user can decide if (s)he wants to download that video file, and the file format to save it.
The application takes care of automatically getting the video file url, saving time and bandwidth, since the selected video files are saved at the same time they are being played in the browser window. Also, several simultaneous downloads are possible, and the user can set hot keys accesses to speed up the process.
Configuration options allow the user to set the application to run as soon as Windows starts up, and it supports operatation with all the Internet browsers.
One of the features of this application is the very 'light' size and the few system resources required. Also, this program can download video files even from password protected web pages. |
